and I also went to Barnes & Noble.
I checked out the Graphic Novels section and found this one called "Berlin" which looked really awesome and I started reading it and it was very interesting.
But then I had to leave it there because I'm a derp and after spending $30 on videogames I couldn't bring myself to buy a book SOB I'm so lame
But what impressed me at first was that I started drawing this one comic yesterday, and the opening scene is really similar to that of Berlin.
Although they're kind of different. Kind of really different. But they both have trains. And German people. Mine has no plot though.
It's kind of presumptuous and has Nazis in it. My comic, I mean. Berlin also has Nazis but it's less lame than my comic.

I think I'm kind of rambling here... My room is a mess and I have no bedsheets...

Anyway, let's talk about Halloween! I though I was gonna die, but I didn't! It was super fun, I went with Kirai and Nathan and Kirai's mom to Knott's Berry Farm, for the scare night events. We got there early and kinda hung out in from and went in the gift shops and stuff until it opened. Then we went in line, got examined by metal detection devices which proved that Nathan has abs of steel.

So first thing we did was go on the Ghost Rider, which is this huge wooden rollercoaster. It was AWESOME! Though I thought it was kinda funny because the whole time I was on it I was thinking about how hard it is to design good rollercoasters.

Then we went to the mazes. The first one we went to was Lockdown. Kirai's mom latched on to my arm and screamed the whole time. She screamed so much I wasn't even scared! And I'm the kind of person who cries if you wave a pencil in my direction. Then we went to the other maze, Club Blood. That was also freaky. Afterwards Nathan and Kirai went on another roller coaster so me and Kirai's mom just hung out for a bit. After that.... my memory gets fuzzy, but it involves lots of mazes and rides and crazy things. Also I won a Kyle plushie at one of those basketball game thingys.

There was also this show they put on, a Hanging. It was awesome. As I was walking past the stage I heard the Star Trek theme play so I turned around and sure enough, they had brought out Captain Kirk and the crew. What followed was 30 minutes of cracktacular crossover ripping on pretty much every current event. Whoo!

I got dropped off at home at maybe 3 or 4 AM. Then I fell asleep almost immediately. I woke up and procrastinated on finishing what I had written up at the park (I started writing at midnight exactly and didn't stop until 1AM) until just a few minutes ago, when I wrapped up the last of the 1700 word quota for the day.

I'll post the other pics later when I'm not lazy.

I really love finding bad art on Pixiv. It makes me feel a little less sucky compared to Japanese fanartists :I....

I wanna know how to play things on the bass... But my hands are so tiny it's hard to hold the strings down.

*cough* anyway, today we went to buy fabric for our xuqawez flag (I have to update that comm;; ) and it seems I have to buy a sewing machine sometime soon....

Yosemite is AMAZING~ But I was feeling kind of sick and so I didn't enjoy it as much as I should have D: but still, beautiful place.

And the not so cool stuff: I lost the Italy keychain South got for me at AX. ;O; I'M SORRY I love you South T_T but the metal thingy broke and it fell and someone must have picked it up because I traced my path back twice and didn't find it.

And also I am heartbroken. </3 I think it's best to not dwell on it, but is it a bad idea to tell someone you like them if they like someone else?

I guess I can add "America" to my list of nicknames I've gotten for places.

Anyway, I got elected President of Art Club today. Sarah is my vice.

Went to Hollywood Bowl with some people to watch this concert of Brazilian music. I fell asleep in the middle of it, then woke up with fireworks.

But mostly I feel mega-depressed for unrelated reasons and everything makes me want to cry.

Alright, so.... yesterday both Sarah and South were wearing Union Jack t-shirts. I thought that was amusing so I pointed it out to them... Sarah says, "the best part is, I got to wear it in BRITISH CLASS." She meant French class. Oh Sarah XD

Then after school, 801_addict managed to convince this dude we're Nazis somehow. Today he came up to me and said "hi Nazi!" I BLAME HER. It's all your fault. YOUR FAULT.

It was also the day I scheduled my Senior Portrait. So I.... wore make-up and a dress and that's just so foreign to me D: I mean, I'm ok with dresses but I hate make-up. I hate how it feels. I hate looking in the mirror and knowing I'm not seeing my actual skin. and I hate mascara most of all.

Then after that was back to school night, where the parents get to meet the teachers and all. It was pretty fun. JB is a good school.

Today.... I slept all afternoon. Oh, but in Econ we played the bead game! Which is hard because if you drop the bead you get an automatic 0. We had a REALLY close call on that one. Basically it's supposed to simulate different types of market places. It was pretty fun.

And I wanted to talk about other stuff but this post is already getting too long :I

Saturday: Went biking. IT WAS AWESOME. I switched bikes with my mom and realized just how terrible my old bike is, because this was the highlight of my week. I need to buy a new bike and go out more often, it was great.

Sunday: Mom said we were going to the pier, so I assumed Santa Monica pier. No, we went to San Clemente, which also has an awesome beach, and then my mom berated me for wearing jeans at the beach. Well, how was I supposed to know!? I wanted to go swimming, too! I didn't even bring a bathing suit! What a wasted Sunday. But it was a beautiful place anyway.

Today: Was supposed to go out with 801_addict, but she didn't return any of my calls. Hopefully she's alright. So I just stayed at home and worked on stuff I owe people on DA.

Academic Decathlon and Mantra are both starting up again. The theme for AcDec is French Revolution so I went to pick up the informational packet. I think this will be great fun :V As for Mantra, I wanna help out and do something but I don't have that much power and I don't want to impose on anyone either;;

GOOD THING: I also got nominated for the California Scholarship Federation!! Hell yeah. Now I got to apply and see if I get selected :D

What else.... I've completed 7 hours of Professor Layton but damn this game is taking a toll on my brain.... have I truly gotten so stupid since last year?? 8 hint coins out of 51! Seriously. I like brewing the tea, tehee <3 although I mostly end up with FAILURE

Art class has been a hassle. CAILA IS GETTING ON MY NERVES. Even though I've told her repeatedly not to touch me she keeps poking me just because she thinks it's funny. I know to her it's no big deal but I'm very particular about which people are allowed to touch me and she's way outside my comfort zone. Not to mention the fact that she talks in my general direction constantly. I don't mind idle chatter while doing art but the fact it she's a huge distraction and makes me all nervous and flares up my OCD and of course she won't stop. because she thinks it's funny

Ah, I didn't mean to end on such a sour note :/....

Well, it's somewhat cooler now.

Went to Mel-sempai's house. Baked a cake. I keep trying to make FLELE skins, but I'm not very good at programming them. I made one for Helia and it turned out all weird. But I think I'll get it right with practice.

Tomorrow I'm totally going to Best Buy to buy Prof. Layton. Nothing can stop me.

anyway, this is the end of my first week of school. TA work is pretty awesome. I like reading all the student's different handwritings, although some really stupid answers come up for quizzes :/

Today, my art teacher said she's starting an Anime Art club. And this is incredible because she HATES EVERYTHING. She's like a hate-a-day calendar, it's ridiculous. But apparently anime is one of the few things she doesn't hate. o_O

Speaking of anime. Anime Club. We're in the process of getting it set up for the year, we just need a sponsor. Emily is the one doing all the work and I wanna be prez cuz I'm the only senior and I'll be gone soon OTL

Aaaaand lastly I got a postcard from shouri_kun! It's so cuuuute!!

So. Went to school today. It was rather uneventful, actually, but I'm probably just used to it by now. Whaaaa I can't believe I'm a senior already!

My schedule is:

1- English
2- Anatomy
3- Economics
4- Teacher's assistant at my last year's English class
5- Advanced art

....And that's it. Four classes! And I get out early! Yeahhh!! And Nathan and Eli are in my art class! So I'm happy.

There's also some sort of competition coming up to decide who will be the school mascot ("Mr. Johnny Burroughs") and all I can think of is JB-kun and ahhh I have to get the Student Bodies webcomic started up. But now that I have Photoshop that'll be easy <3
