Yosemite is AMAZING~ But I was feeling kind of sick and so I didn't enjoy it as much as I should have D: but still, beautiful place.

And the not so cool stuff: I lost the Italy keychain South got for me at AX. ;O; I'M SORRY I love you South T_T but the metal thingy broke and it fell and someone must have picked it up because I traced my path back twice and didn't find it.

And also I am heartbroken. </3 I think it's best to not dwell on it, but is it a bad idea to tell someone you like them if they like someone else?

Lots of things happened today!
For starters I was cosplaying Hungary. I got 148 pictures today, but obviously I can't post them all.... but this is a HUGE POST. Be warned, your internet will whine.

Went with 801_addict to this Brazilian barbecue place! Soooo good! I always eat a lot at Brazilian barbecues. We planted a couple of Xuqawezian flags around, lol.

Then we went to the Strawberry festival. Which was more like a carnival. Took pictures with a cardboard Obama and won a goldfish which Kirai named... Legal. Yep XD He's currently sitting in a plastic bowl downstairs.

Most importantly. I got her to start playing Layton today. And nudged her with puzzles. EXCELLENT I HAVE SOMEONE TOO GEEK OUT WITH NOW
Also Layton is prejudiced against the letter K apparently.
And the people of St. Mystere are communists. Or something.

Ok, this is why I am insane.

I love animation. I really do. It's really hard, it takes a long time, especially if you're operating alone, but it's just so fantastic when you finish it. I don't even mind all the work, I love the journey just as much as the destination. But I also happen to be a high school student who has no time for these kinds of things.

I know that full well. Then, why, does my dear brain keep piling up more and more projects on me? More importantly, why do I insist on doing all of them at the same time?? I can't just settle for one, can I? If I had an animation team, yeah fine, but I'm doing this all on my own!

Therefore I can only logically conclude I am insane.

But secretly, the whole point of this entry is that I want to show these off. Because I can.

I have no less than 8 projects. One of them is actually finished but Youtube took it down. #s 2 and 3 are driving me nuts. #4, the one in the first picture, has been going rather smoothly. #5, 6, and 7 are still in planning. #8, the second picture, is mostly figured out and now I'm drawing frames. OH. And this is not counting 3 others I thought for my own characters.

Today at the Portfolio Workshop we did FIGURE DRAWING which was really fun, and I love figure drawing;;

Then afterwards we went to see some houses for rent (because with how things are now, I can't pay for college!) and the first one was actually really cool... But it would require me to go to Burbank High School. DO NOT WANT. That place somehow manages to be even lamer and more decrepit than Burroughs! Ewwww!

....I really miss my German class ;_;

And I'm really worried about Uncle Fla... I hope he doesn't stress himself to death...

Now in History we've moved on from the Russian Revolution to WWII, which means lot of awkward moments. But the 1930s-40s is one of my favorite time periods, so I can't help but feel excited now o-o but since I took US History in 9th grade I already know a lot of stuff and so I always answer questions in class and my teacher's all "@_@ shush let me tell the story!"

.....I think the History teachers in our school are a little inept. 801_addict's teacher managed to completely miss Germany on the map and point out Italy instead. o_O My teacher's ok, she just seems to not know much besides what's in the textbooks. And for someone who also teaches Government she knows awfully little about current events. And our classes tend to go off topic easily.

Also, I did something today. I wrote fanfiction on the bus. Well, it was completely empty aside from me and the bus driver, and I wrote in Portuguese, and I was really vague and didn't write any character names, but still. FFF IT'S KIND OF A TERRIBLE FANFIC but oh. I dunno, I just thought I'd have to write it. (it's Hetalia, America-centric, BTW.) I'm always writing all these fanfics that never see the light of day. I always think they're so pointless.

I also did manage to stain my fingers with silver nitrate. GREAT GOING, QU. It's almost gone now, mostly because I nipped at them a lot with my sewing scissors. I'm such an idiot, I totally did what my teacher specifically told us not to do. FFFF.

I really feel like writing some poetry.

Sorry about that earlier. But I really do hate Greg.

Anyway, today and yesterday, by pure chance I ran into more Hetalia fans at my school, previously unknown. Two of them were talking rather excitedly about some China/Russia video they saw, and today in my English class:

Currently we're doing a one-point perspective project. I plan on including Wrigth & Co. Law offices and Hotel Dusk XD I already put in a St. Germain deli (the name of a bakery near where I used to live, and also the name of one of my characters) and a Three Feathers Bank (reference to the Seven Feathers Inn in "The Man Who Counted"; three because I don't feel like drawing so many feathers).

Speaking of which, I found that book! Finally! :D I'm so happy~

Also, I randomly found a ton of music on my computer I'd never heard before. lol. It's actually good music. :D

Yesterday's episode of Bones was ~GREAT~ The season just keeps getting better! House, on the other hand, seems to be still suffering from the writer's strike. It's got so much potential but the characters are starting to feel bland...
