So, went to Estação today. It's one of Curitiba's dozens of malls, and I hadn't been there in many years. It's completely different now, really, it's kind of odd. You know when you go to a place you knew as a kid, and you're amazed that everything is still the same? It was like that, except totally not. o_O
My mom was one of the architects who designed the place, so I always felt a connection to it, but now it's so different it's not her work at all.
Anyway, I bought two Coquetel logic puzzle books- the only two they had! Coquetel logic puzzles are hard to find, they usually only sell crosswords and codebreakers. Then I went to Livrarias Curitiba and bought a book by Luis Fernando Verissimo which is really good. BUT SO EXPENSIVE. I had trouble deciding which of his books to buy since I didn't have enough money D:
Then I went to Café da Esquina and had a hot chocolate. It was GOOOOOOOD.

Romano is almost a month old! :D He's growing fabulously. Today was a good day, but first let's have a meme.
( Ganked from Katy, featuring BHS-kun! )
SO. Today I went to Staples to buy a lock. Didn't find a lock, but I did find a clipboard! Yeah!! Now you might wonder what's so exciting about a clipboard. Well, first of all it's transparent and pretty. I used to have a clipboard, but I left it at Otakon last year during the Masquerade D: So I've been wishing for one ever since. And today I got it. Because this little baby here cost me.... FIFTY-FIVE CENTS. I'm not joking. Even the cashier went all "Whoah, cheap!!" And it really is a beautiful clipboard!
After that we stopped by Lowe's to see if we could find a spray bottle for Romano. Couldn't find any so we went to Target, and there we got one.
And then finally we got to Barnes & Noble. AND. Having the $25 giftcard Mel-sempai gave me... I got I AM AMERICA (AND SO CAN YOU!) Finally I can have all of Stephen Colbert's awesomeness! What's really funny is that my mom fangirls him like heck.
Also my mom bought me this book called "Unexplained Mysteries of WWII" which is really cool but I haven't read much yet.
And she also got The Audacity of Hope audiobook. Mostly because she wanted to melt with Obama's voice. or something. I'd like to hear it too. I'm really tired. I can't finish this train of thought. I'm going to bed.

olol terrible webcam picture
ok well, yesterday I p-chatted with tdei and some other folks, but then I had to leave to go to my mom's friend's birthday party. Which was actually really good! There was a six-year-old girl there who was a very passionate artist, so we drew together a lot ^_^ Then I talked to the friend's friend, Helen, about various things such as DEVIANTART and TEGAKI and P-CHAT and all those wonderful things. And I drew a picture of her and her boyfriend (who was very handsome, I must say).
Today I went out with mom and her old friends Karen and Shuji. Shuji is Japanese, and it was kinda cute how Karen would slip some phrases in Japanese to him-
"Itadakimasu~!"
"Kuchi ni aimashita!"
"Chotto made kudasai!!"
"Shuji, doko~?"
Haha! He says next time he goes to Japan he'll buy me cheap manga.
After that we went to this abandoned part of a university campus that was just gorgeous! It feels like stepping into a totally different era, with the gardens and the old buildings and the little stream... Like a fairy tale, almost~
So I went to Barnes & Noble and got SZS and read about neuroscience. Always a fun topic~ Mom bought a book about psychopaths. Heh, maybe I should read it.

Greg keeps trying to steal my umbrella :/
When I said that things got awkward now that we're studying WWII? Yeah. They got REALLY awkward. With such great quotes as "I've never had so many aryans in a single class before!" and "Hey, give the guy a chance. The war's barely started and you already want him to die!?"
But what really bugs me is that my teacher seems very... I don't know... worldly challenged? I mean she is a History and a Government teacher, yet somehow she didn't know what Mexico's flag looks like.
I've been missing Brazil so much lately :(
Oh, I made a Brazil roleplay account on Tegaki. STILL TOO NERVOUS TO POST THOUGH. OTL
And what else
Tegaki is eating my soul again. /spending hours on a Matoi/Nozomu/Matoi request
And I finished A Decima Segunda Noite! :D Finally~ So happy. But it only makes me miss Brazil more ;-;
Whaaaaaa. I wanna go back to Curitiba. OTL

Drawing Omeran 4Komas today, haha. Somehow it degenerated into a Hetalia crossover. I DON'T KNOW.
I'm about 1/3 done with Howl's Moving Castle, I have to say it's been a long while since a book's been able to entice me so <3 but I miss not being a picky reader D:
I was stuck at the library for a while with a bunch of my friends. We played loud music and pushed Emily around on a skateboard and were generally idiots. (this outside the library, of course.) And I of course mostly sat around watching because that's what I do when my friends are being idiots. ////
My health teacher is amusing.
Twilight girl can actually make some awesome cupcakes.
But... all day today I've been feeling rather useless and sad. Blaaah. I hate feeling sad. SOMEONE CHEER ME PLEASE.

My brother left today :(
So I have to do a book report. I plan on doing either a comic or an "Abridged Series" of sorts. Also, I can't really decide what book to read. There's Sherlock Holmes, and there's Howl's Moving Castle, both approved by my teacher, but I find them so entertaining I'm not sure which one to use! I think I'll read Howl's Moving Castle this weekend and then chip away at Sherlock Holmes... Maybe. I dunno. I'm a good reader, so it's ok.
Lately I've been feeling kinda tired. :/

^That.... well, we had a Breast Cancer project. We had to draw something on these little plaster boobs. Guess what I drew?
Anyway;; I've been so nervous lately! Can't concentrate on anything long enough. I need to relax, man....
Emily managed to get a complete stranger to buy her a Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei DVD set, by means of something we Brazilians call "chantagem emocional", in other words she whined and whined and whined about how her birthday is next week and she doesn't have any money... so they bought it! Really.
We've been watching it during lunch because Mr. V. L. is awesome. The DVD is actually Chinese with really bad subtitles. They called Kiri autistic! And Matoi a "trailing bedlamite"! It's hilarious XD
I AM SO TEMPTED TO INCLUDE HETALIA IN MY HISTORY PROJECT LOLWUT
It's a storybook about the French Revolution. I want France to be the narrator, dammit! But I don't know enough about Hetalia's France... :/
I've bought Catch-22. So far it's been an excellent read. I also bought No Plot? No Problem! in preparation for NaNoWriMo. And by the way if you're participating my user page is http://www.nanowrimo.org/eng/user/40225 3 and you should totally friend me.
Becca got me to start playing DOMO, it's very cute! I'm currently at level 8. I love talking to Becca and gosh I can't wait to see her webcomic!
